MPH Needle Flicker

The light on My MPH Needle has started flickering , Just that one the Rev counter one is fine , Anyone know why ?

It is the LED diode failing at the base of the needle. The MPH needle will also start doing this also given enough time.

Mine has been into Landrover (still under warranty) and I believe they changed the whole instrument cluster. I suspect it wouldn't be too difficult to fix with some donor parts from a fleabay one.

Thanks for the reply and answer to the issue Jonathan, Did they change the whole instrument cluster simply because of this ? Just wondering how much of a job it is to do if it’s possible without changing the whole instrument cluster
