D4 6 speed interlock override

Hi all,

I have searched and searched and cant for the life of me find the answer…

Where is the location of the transmission interlock override on a D4 6 speed?

I can find the park brake release, but not the transmission.

I suspect I have a battery issue, ut the car is outside and I want to get it out of park so I can push it into the garage.

Thanks from down under!

You want to be able to leave it in Neutral with the handbrake off/ Ignition off to then be able to roll it?

Pretty much.

Basically, ignition was totally dead, effectively battery disconnected. Transmission was in Park, and I wanted to get it into neutral so I could move it.

Immediate issue has now been solved, I managed to get the battery to hold enough charge to get it back into the garage. But, it would still be really useful to know for the3 future!

I can find where the lock override is for the rotary dial 8 speed, but not the 6 speed....
