| Internal load capacity for D4 |

Hi there,
I have to do a driving test for trailer use next week, one of the requirements is that the trailer is weighted with 30 concrete blocks.
My question is, a typical block is 20kg, so that would be 600kg of a load. Would I be safe in loading up the back of my MY2014 D4 with those blocks. Most likely two rows deep, five blocks wide and three blocks high. They would be sitting on the folded 3rd row.
Has anyone else had a similar load in the boot? It would save me bringing the horsebox to the source of the blocks, but that would not be the end of the world if I had to do it.

When building my swimming pool i folded the seats down put a ply sheet in and loaded 20 35kg sacks of cement. No adverse effects.
I never checked the recommended load weight. Should have i suppose.
Look up max payload for the definitive answer.

IIRC max payload is 1000kg in the back..... spread out of course
Ive had about 15 large concrete 600mm x 600mm slabs in the back and the D4 didnt bat an eyelid
its one of the problems with the new Ineos Grenadier pick up, the payload is only 750kg although it could take 1000kg but that would take the weight over the maximum permissible GVW 2011 D4 XS 305 MY12 - gone but not forgotten
