Is it just me or have there been site problems?

The last posting shown before I looked for new posts was timed at 1.29am today.
After downloading new posts there were 2, the first at 6.23pm repeated at 6.24 and the 2nd at 6.38pm repeated at 6.40.
A further download displayed the above and one at 6.46pm.The posting at 6.40 was shown as being edited at 6.50.
Something similar happened very recently when there were apparently no posts for several hours around midday.
I am accessing the main site via an android phone and have not had problems in the past.

I attempted to post at about 17.35 today and the post went missing. Sad
I"ll have another go but this is the 3rd time this has happened to me and as my posts are never short it is a bit frustrating. Sad
Has anybody else had the same problem or can suggest what might be going wrong?, including an error on my part.

Now I am unable to locate the thread that I was replying to.
It was a recent one on driving licence renewal at age 70.
My searches only bring up threads last updated months ago.
Has this thread disappeared?. If not can somebody provide me with a link please.
