Who was that at Billingshurst tip this morning?

Was at my local tip in Billingshurst, West Sussex this morning and it seemed to be a Discovery 3/4 morning!! Counted 4 of us. However there was one gorgeous D3 Cairns blue with rear tyre carrier, and what looked like compomotive alloys with BFG’s plus snorkel and full expedition roof rack. They were unloading sections of cut trees out the back. Anyway if you’re on here that’s one lovely D3 and thanks for brightening up my boring tip run.

I'm surprised no one has jumped on the bit about taking wood to the tip. There's a strong firewood vibe in the forum. Rolling with laughter Thumbs Up

I have log burner, but unfortunately this was a large downed rotten fir tree, which would never burn in the log burner. Sad

Hi John. Thanks for the message. Yes I should have come and chat. Problem was I would have been there for ages and my wife had a few more jobs for me 😂. Yours is exactly how I picture mine in the not too distant future when spare funds available. Latest job and wallet emptier, gearbox out, new TC and partial GB rebuild!! Not cheap!! I’ll look out for you as I presume you’re quite local to Billingshurst. Thanks. Andrew
