Anyone fitted a Raw Jack spare wheel winch adapter thingy?
Hi everyone,
Anyone had experience fitting a Raw Jack?
Bought one from APB earlier in the week Nice piece of kit. Well made and a clever idea.
However have come to fit it today and it doesn't seem to fit properly! Doesn't seem to sit flat due to the plastic trim on the edge of the boot. This means you can't get a socket onto the nut to lower the wheel. Kind of defeats the object of having it!
Does the trim have to be trimmed back? It didn't come with any instructions.

Yes, I've fitted one to mine, excellent kit. You need to remove a trim/harness clip under the carpet to get it to sit flat.1972 Range Rover Classic 2 door V8

Thanks for the reply.
Do you mean the finisher at the back of the boot?

I think it's a harness clip that needs to be removed. If I remember rightly it's under the carpet.1972 Range Rover Classic 2 door V8

Bought one of these and went to fit it today but had the same issue. Removed the harness clip but left with a protruding screw. Will have to dig out the dremel and cut it off when I have more time.
