Steering wheel vibration when braking at motorway speeds

3 months ago ,steering wheel started to vibrate under braking at about 40/50mph,even worse when braking downhill. New discs and pads, genuine LR parts, where fitted by local indy. This helped problem but not solved. Left a few weeks as Indy busy.Yesterday had new lower suspension arms fitted , thought this had solved problem, until braking on motorway last night steering wheel judders, doesn’t seem to pull left or right just judders until about 45mph.
Sorry if bit long winded but looking for suggestions if anyone had similar. Thanks in advance

Front or rear arms? Both can give the same effect.

All four tyres ok, all balanced. Tried that before I took to garage.
Thanks for taking time to reply

Garage found some play in front lower arms ,which would have failed future mot, but could find nothing wrong with rears. Also he could not see how on rear fault would cause steering wheel to judder when brakes applied at 60mph.
Thanks for taking time to reply

I wouldn't see that either, but once I replaced mine, my L320 stopped shaking while braking in exactly the same conditions you experience.

I've had exactly this. Someone told me it was build up on teh discs - possible I suppose as I didn't drive much.

Anyway after a week or so it went away. Sorry I cannot point to what it was but like many things LR a straightforward explanation is rare.

My last experience was the week I sold my D4 the LED showing car alarm was set came on.... after 11 years !
