It is automatic.
Go off road and look at the padlocks and you will see that it will close when you are off orad.
Do not forget to put your TR on.
If you have 2 padlocks... I would assume that you have a central and rear Diff Lock. Arno

To force the rear one locked select low range and select rock crawl mode then selct drive and move off slowly. If you have it then this setting will lock it.
All the best

The Terrain Response knob is in the centre console.
Like IanV said, select Rock Crawl. To do this, turn the TR knob until 'Rock Crawl is lit. You'll also get a message on the screen between the speedo and the tacho; and the 4x4 info screen will also show which mode you are in.
The TC is on all the time.
The DSC button partially turns Dynamic Stability Control off. Have a nice day!

Nothing to add to what said Jamo...
May be to disable the DSC, you need to press the DSC button and keep pressing for 2 seconde... if I remember correctly! Arno
