Spot-light brackets (D4)
Hi all!
I've been trying to find these (see link or image): https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/353068250903
(out of stock)
But the company that makes them appears to have gone out of business (Raptor 4x4). Their last Instagram post was Oct last year.
I've been searching for an equivalent bracket for some Spots and can't find anything apart from a 'Bushranger Night Hawk X-Bar Universal Light Mount' from Devon 4x4 but that sticks-out too much for me.
I'm reticent to buy the LR OEM brackets as they are north of £150 and I don't know if they are compatible with 3rd party spots or just their own OEM halogen spots.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers!

I did see some that had been 3D printed to fit into the holes in the grill, I think the chap 1st made them for the Freelander 2.

Cheers Disco4Chris!
I'll sling him an email as mine is a D4 2015 and I don't know if the grill is different from a D4 2010-2014 (as listed on his site).
Thanks again for finding them!Discovery 4 HSE late 2015 Euro6

Just to update, Beavis Pits (https://www.beavispits.com/all-products), who makes the 3d printed mounts is sending me a pair to test as he's only just made the facelift variant. Will update this thread when they've arrived.
AndyButch: Aye, but like I said there's none available as I think they are out of the game now, unless you know of a supplier?Discovery 4 HSE late 2015 Euro6

I had a pair of the Beavis pits brackets on my last FL2 and they are very well made and very simple to fit with no drilling required. A good bit of kit IMO
There was only very minimal vibration on the lights when fitted, not enough to cause concerns or issues
However the FL2 grill is part of the front bumper where as the D4 grill is clipped in separate from the bumper so there may be more flexibility in the plastics depending on the weight of the spot lights used2011 D4 XS 305 MY12 - gone but not forgotten
Just make a bracket using a bit of steel and a few bolts. Not hard done with basic tools. Some steel suppliers and fabricators can even punch holes and make bends if you show them where

I'm still mulling over my choices.
I looked at the ProSpeed mounts (see image) but it looks like they only fit the rectangular spots.
If I do fit the Bevis grill-mounts mentioned above I may have to be careful of the loading on the grill as, for instance, the Lazerlamps sentinel 7" are 1.5 Kg each (@ £300 a lamp) but the Stands Siberia NR7's are 2Kg each (@ £150 a lamp). Or I could go for the BriodLights OZZ (2Kg) @ £225 a lamp.
I'm after DRL's with my spots which is why I didn't look at embedded Lazerlamps grill kit, etc.

Prospeed do a separate bracket to take round lights, you just have to ask them for it.
