2012 Discovery 4 3.0 Diesel Heater Pipes

I am removing the body from a 2012 Discovery 4 3.0 Diesel.
The Heater Pipes have an extra branch at the back of the engine bay, beneath the windscreen.
The pipe routes down past the brake servo pump.
On closer inspection it looks like the heater pipe does a full circle around the vehicle.
As far as I can see I dont think I need to disconnect the lower branch, just the 2 heater pipes in the pre 2012 position.
Am I correct?
Anyone know why the pipes are routed all around the vehicle?

Have you got factory fitted remote for the oil burning heater?- if you have the pipework is different to none remote or after sale remote.
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

It will be the feed and return to the EGR valves coolers and don’t need to be disconnected, but I would wait for a reply from a more knowledge member.

Thanks but it goes all the way around the vehicle and is nothing to do with EGR.
I have removed body now anyway, and the pipes are only attached to the body, so just disconnect heater pipes as earlier D4.
