Pirelli Scorpion Winter

Hello

Anyone had Pirelli Scorpion Winter Tyres on their D4?

Not cheap. Reviews on TyreReview is mixed. One year 2nd place, the next not good.

Are they strictly winter only, i.e. not all year round?

Had Michelin Crossclimate before and happy with them in the limited snow we encountered in the Alps.

Be interested to see them back to back in snow and ice.

Had 2 sets. Had Vredestein before that (2 sets).
Pirellis are very good in snow ice, but are softer wearing than the Vreds so you dont want to keep them on once warms up. Would not recommend all year round, only winter. If want all year, look at Vredestein assuming they still make them... d4 HSE

I had them on a VW Amarok. All as I can say is, lethal. Never again, straight out dangerous. No grip in the wet. I suffered them for about 10k, then got rid of them for Michelin.
