Brake pads or discs replacing?
Considering whether to replace pads and discs, thinking the fronts are on their last legs (steering shake when heavy braking), but the rear pads have been replaced but the discs are perhaps a little worn and need a refresh?
Might be discussed to death but grooved, drilled or flat discs?
Have some Meyle front lower arms on order considering perhaps Meyle brake discs from AF, will post a review once all the work is done!

Thickness new 30mm, LR recommendation to change 27mm , vibration when braking is more than likely caused by worn suspension bushes. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I don't know what will be the case in the UK, but here the change to grooved or perforated discs is a serious bug in MOT, it is not supported and you will not pass the test, keep that in mind in case it is the case there too!!lost in translation!

Discs are OK, if there is no vibration when braking

I ran a set of EBC grooved and drilled discs. Can't say I noticed any improvement in stopping power but both fronts and rear discs warped in the heat of last summer and some spirited autobahn driving.
Lots of vibration and judder after that trip..
I am back on OEM and happy now.Jim
