Dimensions of a Kaymar bar with tyre mounted

Can someone please measure the distance from the back door to the outer edge of the back tyre. I am trying to work out if I fit a Kaymar bumper with the tyres on will it fit in my garage. I currently have 255 x 18inch tyres.

Thanks garryc, so hopefully that means that a 255 tyre should be about 400mm. Since I only have 420mm it is going to be tight.

I've got the STT 245/70's on the back and they're 370mm to the end of the nuts.

AH! your wheel carrier must close up a bit tighter than mine to get 370mm Confused I must say that the latch on my RH carrier is very easy and on the LH one very difficult. Confused

My latches are the same as yours Garry. The LH is difficult and the RH easy.

I did find that the U shaped receiver thingy on the bar has slightly elogated holes for the mounting bolts and slips down. I've had to adjust it once and may need to again soon.
