se spec d3
So im looking for a new to us d3, after chatting with mrs monty we are thinking a se spec would be fine, no sunroof to contend with, the car above is our hse which has a gearbox problem so im thinking, would the headlights ,fridge and other bits be transferable to the Se spec without issue,

Fridge - yes
Headlights - yes if xenon and the SE has halogen. No, if the HSE lights are “AFS” (look at label) and the SE has halogen.
In general a lot can be swapped over.

You might find that the right spec’d SE already has those fitted along with a few other bits so you could sell yours and get some money back I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

AFS (Adaptive Frontlight System) Means the lights turn sideways… it needs more than just the light units to work.

I would have thought that all UK Discovery 3 SE vehicles would have had xenon head lights fitted as standard.

My SE has xenon lights from new. Although, I'm sure I've read a thread on here where someone had an SE without xenon?Richard

mines knackered needing a gearbox, plus i cant be bothered getting the work done, its a good donor car though, everything was repaired or replaced before it broke and its been parked up over a year.
