Door Mirror Folding Motion Jerky
The folding motion of my driver’s side door mirror has suddenly become jerky. Is there something that should be cleaned or lubricated to solve this problem and if so what is the best way to go about doing it?

Not easy to clean the hinge, but some silicone spray around the hinge, in the gap will usually sort it Richard

Thanks Richard, as you advised I used silicone spray in the horizontal and vertical gaps that the mirror rotates about when the door mirror folds (using thin cardboard soaked in silicone spray to get deep into the gaps) and the motion is now much smoother.
