Remember that this is just an Autocar journo's visual interpretation of an article full of guesswork ......my guess is that the mk6 will be a million miles away from that.

Who knows if there will be a D6 after the poor performance of the D5 and success of the Defender?

Hopefully LR will look at the new Land Cruiser and D3/4 for inspiration of what to do. They got it so wrong with the D5.

Some Autocar mock-ups are half decent but that looks like it was done with child's scissors and pritt stick Neutral

I love the way they've even left a guide down the side so you know where to put the traffic cones when you're stuck at the side of the road Laughing

The issue seems to be that they want every model to be "premium" and "luxury" (and throw in "reductive" design, of course). But that then bookends what you can design. Perhaps they need to drop McGovern and go back to having some "practical" and "real world" designs in the stable.

One first viewing it looked to me like a cross between a Disco Sport and something from Citroen!

a good 9 seater! why not! LR always innovates in that sense! In addition to a carplay, something has to justify the €185,000 starting price for for goodness sake!! 🤪
