Oil in servo symptoms but not it.
I have just started started having the hard brake pedal (lack of vacuum assistance ) but after checking the servo there is no oil in it and the vacuum lines are are dry and clean.
Vehicle had the recall done in 2010 but i think maybe its taken this long for the servo to fail, it holds vacuum overnight alright but loses assistance after about the 2nd brake application.

Opened up the booster and found the smallest film of oil on one of the diaphragms, not the first one which is why it didn't show when dipping a cable tie into it.
Replaced the booster with a newer upgraded part from a mates wreck and back to working brakes again. I used a vacuum tester to confirm that the vac pump was working correctly.
