Hi folks hope you are well
Needed sone help on my D3 2006
Car wont lock on remote and horn beeps
Worked out from the console that the drivers
Door is open.
All okay so far theres the fault
On pressing the key when the door does lock on occasion
I am hearing a squeeking noise from the handle area can only
Describe it as a squeeky toy like air escaping so i am assuming the lock has some kind of vacuum?
can i get any idea on whick part i need to replace
And is it likely to be a pain to change like needing the
Hands of my 7yo.

I usually just replace the door lock actuator it's a common fault but iv just given this ago on my sport same issue as you drivers door not locking.
Give it a try
