Random codes
Hi all
I’ve started getting random codes come up the last few days
May be in relation to the new alternator?
I used the gap tool. Firstly did the codes while the car was being driven. Suspected that could have been the issue so cleared codes and tried again with ignition on 2 clicks but not running.
Very odd codes never had before
Wondering is this normal now I’ve got a working alternator? Or is it hinting of something else now maybe starter or something?
Thanks

Check all the speakers by putting your ear to them.
If you find one not working,‘I find cranking up the volume helps in the short term, to make it work.
The last lot on blend motors is normal if cranking the engine with battery at low voltage.
Clear them all

Denso mate yes
Ok maybe this “snappy batteries” brand battery I’ve got
It’s new and slightly better rated… but maybe it’s best putting the varta g14 back in seeing as it wasn’t the issue
Cheers
Sounds like nothing to worry about at least
And I’ll check speakers thanks againDisco 3 SE Manual 2005 V6 2.7

Low charged battery, new batteries are not always fully charged. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

There doesn't appear to be anything there to worry about, in case you're not aware, the only fibre-optics in the vehicle are on the infotainment system so it's not going to cause you any running issues. I'd bench charge the Varta and stick it back on personally, pretty much everything points to low voltage at cranking.
