| Dash lights went out dials to zero |
|
Driving down to London Dash lights went out !!! Dials to zero car running fine sat nav and heater/radio controls still lit.
Came back on but with no info in central display !!! Next morning all Ok done 300 miles since no fault.
Had a new compressor for suspension fitted last week, job previous to that was a full belt change.
And if anyone is interested I had the gearbox re built in the summer think it's the best £2k I have spent in my life !!?
Anybody got any ideas on the dash darkness ?

Dash problems aren't unknown.
Could be due to lead-free solder being used on the later D3.
If you continue to have problems there are places that can repair it.
Note the dash contains the immobiliser code, so it won't start without a dash or if it gets destroyed.
