Our D4
Thought it was about time I did a thread on our D4. Bought for the "boss" to mainly drive...to replace her Mini....the original plan was to replace it with a FL2 as the Mini was just not big enough...but a well looked after D4 came up at my work at the right price so temptation took over.

We both use the vehicle. I mainly get to drive it at weekends (when it needs Fuel ) Part of the reason for buying it was to keep the mileage off my G4 D2 event vehicle.
So it get used for laning and 4x4Response stuff too. Here the boss having a crack in the quarry with the response groups instructor
Quite an achievement for her as she's terrified of heights so to drive round a site with some quite big drops was a major goal for her.

We've had the motor 18mths now with only a couple of issues...nothing really major TBH. Replaced the front lower arms and new tyres. After much ummming & arghing I went with Cooper's simple because the other two Green ovals run on them and they've always done what I need & worn well.
Some might not have noticed but the car is actually wrapped...this was done at 3mth old...previous keeper didn't like green cars....so after much thought we decided we'd get it took off as we both like the green D4's and the paint would be like new underneath....

Its quite hard to tell the difference with a photo....photos don't really do it justice. It needs a polish but I've looked and can't find a mark on the paint. The wrap came off quite well,so more than happy with it. Next on the shopping list is a rack and fit the awning I've had in the garage for about 3yrs. lol

A very nice wallet busting collection
Makes a point LR seem to have forgotten is that a lot of LR owners have more than one...I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

Other than used for generally burning fuel to and from work,we've not done over much with it lately. We have purchased a roofrack for but not got round to fittin it yet. Got a mate to help me out with machine polishin it the other week...it came up a treat but now harvestin has started its just covered in dust as soon as you wash it
We did use it today to collect another green oval for our grandson
And back at home with rest of the addiction
Think someone is gonna be a happy little boy on his birthday
