Warning light
Hi
Driving at 55 mph +/- on long left hand sharp bend going up hill, I get the warning (picture attached) light flash on and a power drop also a rumbling sound, almost immediately the light goes off and power is normal again.when I say immediately disappears it's almost instantaneously, you see the light, feel the rumble then light goes off and rumble gone.
The rumble is and feels like the drive on all four wheels, there is no specific wheel, nearside or offside.
This has happened two days on the trot on exactly the same bend.
There has been no other issues since I have had the car over 4 years.
Hope this is just some sort of built in anti roll anti skid or something simple.
Any advice or relevant information is eagerly awaiting.
Thanks
Pete

How are your tyres? Pressures and wear need to be pretty even or the car can think a wheel is slipping and the car will apply brakes to the slipping wheel.
I had it on roundabouts when I had a slow puncture on the back left

Pressing the DSC button will stop it.
As said. Check tyre pressure and tread front to rear.
Otherwise wheel alignment and steering angle Sensor calibration

I had it happen on mine. Sharp corners at open road speeds. It's the stability control. Might be a ride height sensor on its way out. The rumbling is the car applying the abs brakes.
I've resolved mine by lowering the ride height by 15mm using the GAP IID BT tool.
Buy me some more time before I start looking into ride height sensor calibration/replacement. Seems to be working so far.

Thanks you all very much very helpful as usual.
Two new tyres on the rear a month ago I do check the pressure of the tyres regularly good job I do.
The tyre fitters (bathwick) put in over 40psi on the new tyres on the rear noticed it straight away like riding on sold rubber.
The front ones are getting low but ok 3/4mm and even wear.
Maybe I may need the 4x4 tracking done with fitment of the new rear tyres.
I was going to wait till I had the front tyres replaced after Xmas to do that.
I run the tyres as described in the driver's door for 19 inch wheels and 4 people.
I do very occasionally get the suspension light come on but goes off once restarted and never whilst driving.
I will check the steering angle with my autel tool later today and reset it .
Where is the stability sensor located could check that and replace if easily, located back axel I guess.
I can also check the height and adjust with my autel tool so I will do that.
Or just maybe I am cranking her to hard around the bend and the stability control kicks in as it's supposed to do.
I will let you know the results of the test and checks asp.pete truckle

The problem might be the rolling circumference of the tyres, you are supposed to change all the tyres at the same time to keep the rolling circumference otherwise the traction control will think there's loss of traction.Andrew

I’m sure when you get 2 new tyres it will be
Fine.
Press the DSC button after startup for now, when going that route

Good point never thought of the DSC button will try that first.
Couldn't afford 4 tyres at once that's the only reason I had two done pete truckle

Could be a failing rear panhard rod bush.

Thanks for the links will get my local 4x4 guy to check it out.
Whatever the problem is it needs doing quickly,as yesterday going round a left hand bend again at about 50mph the light flashed 3 times and the car tried to straighten itself out, bloody scary for nanosecond I can tell you then it came on again a couple times going down cheddar gorge.
Stupid thing it never happened on the way home, same route, bends are reverse I know but plenty of left handers same driver same speed just weird.
It is very intermittent but makes driving more of a worry and I must admit I haven't done all the intended to do things as advised on the forum, I hope to get most of the simpler test done today.
Will keep you posted
Thankspete truckle
