FBH controller
Hi all. I have purchased a wbus controller with remote from Germany. My question is, what do I need to do to make it work? I wired power and gnd as the text shows, but I don’t seem to have an output to the red wire in Fbh. On the advert derail it states using the solder bridge to set the wbus input. Not really sure what this means, but as I don’t have any change of state when I monitor voltage I assume it’s. It working right. Anyone used one of these controllers yet?

That looks like mostly the receiver unit.
Unless the daughter board shown in pic 2 s the Wbus driver? (Edit. No that looks like the antenna ?)

I’m thinking 5is isn’t actually a wbus signal generator, just the remote! It said and and I asked the seller for confirmation that it would turn on my Fbh. Not sure it actually will.

Sorry to revive this old thread, but I had exactly the same issue with Mikepowerparts website.
As shown on many pictures, I was thinking that the "AK-RK01SY" circuit was a controller, but it's ONLY a remote ! I had to buy separately the W-bus controller as Pete K said.
This seller seems to be notoriously unable to give help on his products, due to the fact he doesn't know exactly how they work. As an example, I had to find by myself the settings to program the remote. As you can see in this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DLHtivdgIz...iachip.com), it's not so simple as he says !
I've now succeed to use his diagnostic cable with ThermoTest software and I'm still looking for to use the remote/controller to start the FBH on demand.
I'd be glad to exchange about our experiences with these products.

I’ve worked it out now, but his guide is poor to say the least!

Did you use his converter ? Is the remote run working for you ?
At the beginning, I had issue because I only picked a wire on the red one (pin 2 = W-bus) going to the rear right side of the trunk, where optional receiver could take place. Now, I've cut it close the FBH and it works - as the test wiring - but only after a reset.
Maybe a bad choice in the CCF settings ? I've set like recommended on GAP site :
FBH Call Start is equal to Fitted radio. This is the one related to the remote.
Fuel Burning Heater is equal to Fitted parking heat
Timed Climate is equal to Enable
But perhaps I'm wrong ?

Jim has a D3 which are different in this respect. Don't really have these CCF on a D3 or wires in the boot,

I use one of these gate opener GSM modules to send a SMS to either switch on or off my W-Bus adapter. Send a message from anywhere to start or stop the FBH and works really well. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004778...1802y2q57tFaultmate MSV2 EXTREME

A GSM remote needs to use a SIM card, and to pay a suscription each month (about €30 /month). A radio one is free... But 100 m coverage, I agree.
But right now, my problem is not to activate the FBH (that works), but to keep it on more than a minute.
