| Disco 3 boot and handbrake help |

So my disco 3 2007, the boot suddenly stopped working but the noise is still there it just won’t open, I need it open as the rear indicator has gone but I can’t change it without opening the boot.
Also we changed the break pads on the handbrake and all was working fine for a couple of days then just wouldn’t come off so I had to use the hand break release but this has gone back down and when we try to press the hand break on it will just make a noise

For the handbrake did you use ‘Bodsy Bible’ to do the adjustments etc? Sounds like it hasn’t relatched properly after you pulled the cable. If you have the IID or Autel readers they can perform the relatch of the handbrake.
