[For Sale] Discovery 4 commercial many toys, Reduced.
So I'd like a petrol supercharged Full fat Range Rover.... it stupid but hey ho.
Here is my beloved D4. Yes you may say its over priced if you wish.... but I don't really want to sell it
Its a 2 week exercise before I renew my warranty with LR again and pay their extortionate premium. If it sells great.... if it doesn't.... great.
It was advertised at £19500.
I have now cancelled the extortionate warranty and it’s on AT for 17995.

Apologies.
Did not realise links were not permitted.
Update…
2014, 90500 miles. Black with black 20” D5 alloys. 19” D4 alloys included wearing AT3’s for winters.
MOT passed - no advisories.
Full Land Rover service history (with me changing oil every 5k interim)
Last service was both cam belts.
Still has full Land Rover approved used warranty and has never been run with out one.(includes recovery, hire car etc etc) it hasn’t wanted for anything. When something failed LR replaced it!
I have just renewed this at a cost of 1500 for the year.
It has apple car play, front and rear cams, black pack, black rails and bars, black side steps, loads of powerful U.K. add ons, LED’s everywhere. 2 sets of alloys, 2 lots of seats (bench alantech and 3 proper rears (LR) with waterproof covers. Even has its own IID tool and a tuning box (not fitted) it’s the Bluetooth one from TDI tuning.
The cost is for everything…can be adjusted for car only…up to all of it and in between.
I doubt there is another 2014 with full warranty out there?….. well, I’ve not seen one advertised.
I’m not allowed to link so I’ll add a couple of photos.
Please ask for more details if interested…. Getting a bit of interest from Autotrader now, but would obviously offer a forum member a better price as I’d like to see it on here and keep in touch.

That picture is very old.
Wearing the 19 originals before many upgrades!
Still working on the pictures! Bear with...

Hi there looks like a great car, I'm assuming from the year that it's not AdBlue? and not ULEZ compliant?2014 D4 HSE Facelift Corris Grey

Hi,
Thanks!..... it is a lovely drive, if it doesn't sell in a week or so I will keep it another year now I have renewed the warranty.
Yes it is pre ad-blue.... but DOES have the start/stop (can be disabled but can be annoying sometimes!)
It is the euro V spec.

Hi yes I have an HSE the same age, also with Stop Start - annoyingly I live close to London and the ULEZ is starting to add up, Im just wondering whether I ought to try to get a slightly newer one. I dont want to, but may have to.2014 D4 HSE Facelift Corris Grey

You wont get a D4 commercial that is ULEZ compliant as they were all euro5 even after the normal D4s went to euro 6.

So I have now decided to cancel the LR warranty.... it just made no sense to keep paying the extortionate premiums. The car can now go for 18k with all extras or 16.5k just car with silver 19" alloys.
If anyone is interested let me know.
The other reason for cancelling the warranty is that it seems now is not the time to sell.... I will probably be keeping it and maintaining it myself.... of which I am very happy to do as I love the car.... I will chase my V8 FFRR when this recession ends.....
LR wanted £650 for the service Just oil and filters ffs!!!
I can do this service (which I do interim the main services anyway) for less than £100!
Totally ridiculous to keep paying LR prices on an 8 year old car. To keep this car under full warranty will cost well over 2k yearly... I think LR have lost themselves up their own at the moment!A mod a week until I have nothing to improve or add.

They have indeed lost the plot along with the franchised dealers hourly rates. From experience they are about as reliable as estate agents Much better to do your own maintenance if your up to it ,at least you will know its done properly.
Sadly theres not much that ticks all the boxes for me like the D4 so I will be keeping this one running and looking for another late one to put away for a bit., D5 would seem the logical next step but having tried 3 they are not a D4 with its practicalities and roominess. It appears LR are doing their best to kill off the Discovery sub group anyhow.

Totally agreed Pops.... in the end they said they were going to take the wheels off to check the brakes and my first thought was "can I do it as you'll my wheel nuts with your guns"..... I then realised I don't want them doing anything to my car.
Ill care for it and get a breakdown/recovery (just in case it now reverts to type!)
650 for a service though!!
Makes the 1300 I paid for the cam belts and service last year look good value!A mod a week until I have nothing to improve or add.

Funnily enough was quoted that by an independent. just for an oil change ,was still trying to tell me the belts needed changing, even though the engine is less than a year old . Was only using them to preserve the warranty . however did it ourselves using genuine parts and high quality oil from our usual oil supplier for under £80 ,as we are VAT registered will argue the toss with the warranty if needed . Its only got another month anyhow.
