Just been to pick the kids up and the car is beeping every couple of minutes or so. Bit like when the dish washer has finished.
There is nothing showing up on the display, doors are all closed and its about 6 degrees. Cold but not as cold as this morning. Thought that it might be a frost alert.
Any ideas anyone?
Cheers.

No it is not as annoying as the seatbelt one, its just one beep/bong every couple of minutes or so.
Have read elsewhere that there is a bong for low fluids, but is this not also accompanied with a warning light??

Not always... only had the light once and then only a Message Centre warning. Use the 'i' button to cycle the display through to the message display (one after the blank with just Temp showing). This will show all warning messages since startup.
Low Fluid warning will occur at startup or if the D3 has just changed direction sharply or gone over a bump - ie the level is just inside the minimum and only trips the sensor with sloshing.
You can get rid of the seat belt warning too if you want too... search the threads to find out how
Read the outside temp reading if you here a bong... you may be getting a frost warning and then the temp goes up and down.
Essentially the Message Centre should show you why its bonged unless you have a faulty sensor or somesuch

could be the external temp. is hovering around the 4 degree 'frost warning' threshold, the EXT turns to a * on the message centre display and you get a 'bong' failing that, if the front PDC is iced up it goes inactive with a whining 2 second beep at low speeds
