Clonk Noise
Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone can help?
When reversing down a steep gradient at low speeds (Fathers drive) there is a clunk noise front the front wheel area, like something falling over itself, not repeatedly, perhaps just the once or twice.
Not sure if it is relevant but the front lower wishbones have been replaced within the last 12 months.
Any ideas/suggestions welcome.

Do you have the suspension at normal height or access height when reversing down the drive?Richard

Thanks for the replies, it is in the raised height when reversing down, and is a metallic type clonk. It certainly feels wheel turning related but only happens on the turn at the bottom of the drive decline.

Bit of a long shot but did you get to the bottom this?
i have something similar after the lower arms and lower steering column were replaced, i've greased the stops but it only happens when reversing at about half lock steering turned to the left if that makes sense
