Faults limited gears and more lights on dash
Hi, any ideas? presently stuck at home while SWMBO a few miles away sitting with a sick D3 waiting for RAC to arrive.
So car has faults on dash and displays limited gears . can revers but doesnt drive foreward properly/ limp mode Im guessing?
Don't know whether this is connected but really suspect it is as yesterday I took car to Quickfit for air con regas and after them leak testing was told that they couldnt do it because of leak . When I got in car I had the same fault but after turning off and then back on again it cleared and all was well untill this event today. Any ideas?Belts, oil pump casing and water pump by Flack

You wont get any useful response unless you have the codes read, could be numerous issues from a simple low battery voltage to a failing HPFP.

Understood although th codes have been cleared by the RAC technician when he was called out. He read the codes but couldn't see what the problem was, I think he said that the transmission unit / processor had flaged a fault from node??. But he cleared codes to see if they came back butthey didn't. He said he would email me the codes but he hasn't so I am now in shtook!!. Other than drive around only to wait to see if it happens again which I'm not to comfoftable doing.Belts, oil pump casing and water pump by Flack

Worth servicing the gearbox linkage under the car.
Move the bush around 1/3 of a turn or whatever.
So it sits in a different place.
