Painting wheel arches
First Post here guys after just buying my first discovery 3 2008.
My Disco 3 is in Stornoway Grey and im currently in the process of black editioning it. I had thought of colour coding the wheel arches and trim same as a disco 4 but then wondered if gloss black would look good instead? Like the new defenders for example. So my question is has anyone ever painted the wheel arches gloss black on a non black car?
Thanks Guys

I have the same colour and want to colour match mine, raptor bed liner paint is used a lot but never seen gloss black used. As the plastic is textured it will take a bit of prep to get them ready for gloss paint.

Maybe search some of the breakers and see if a set of gloss black arches are available ? Could save you time and money in the long run ?I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

I know powerful UK sell gloss black arches but it's just a thought as to what they'd look like on a grey car? I do like the new defenders with gloss arches but maybe it would look silly on a D3. I might photoshop an image up to get an idea but I was hoping that someone would say they've already tried it and show some images.
Thanks for your replies guys.
