Having sold my 2011 (MY12) D4 last year I switched to a 2013 FL2. Dont get me wrong its a great car and theres nothing wrong with it at all but i have missed the whole D4 experience.
this has popped up for sale near me, ive not seen it in the flesh yet as its away getting a new heater matrix fitted apparently. But the price seems a little low to me (maybe its to allow for the dent in the lower boot lid  )
does anyone know this vehicle ? or can help provide more info on it if possible ? Ive not got the VIN at this time so cant check on TOPIX. When i asked about the service history and belts the dealer said it had some but couldnt remember off the top of his head without getting the log books which were with the car.

I think this says a lot about the service you could expect.

I don't think it's very cheap for the miles... my 07 plate D3 has done the same mileage ! You can have that for the same money !!  I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

they are only round the corner from me so IF i go to have a look ill be wanting to see all the paperwork and the V5 obviously, plus all the other usual stuff.
Ive not heard any bad or good reviews off people round here but then thats probably the same for most dealers until you look into them more closely. I know another user on here bought a D4 off them (think it was Marsie) and dont think he had a bad experience with them although i believe he did most post sales work on it himself.
It was more the price thoughts, and if anyone on here had any knowledge of the specific car, i was after.
I certainly wouldnt commit to anything until every check possible was done by me. 2011 D4 XS 305 MY12 - gone but not forgotten

If you're just round the corner then you've nothing to lose. Unfortunately, I drove miles to see a car there last year, which turned out to be far from what was advertised and was midway through some engine repairs when I turned up. Which they hadn't told me about.
The photos made it look mint, the reality was very different.  2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE
2010 D4 HSE (A bit bling)-GONE
2014 D4 HSE (Almost too bling)-GONE
2015 D4 HSE (A heated what?)-GONE
2016 D4 Landmark (Written Off)-GONE
2016 D4 Landmark (Surely the last!) PD1881 rims-GONE
2017 FFRR SDV8 Autobiography (now semi-retired)

Its VAT qualifying so does the price incude or + VAT
I dont think its cheap for that age and mileage, I think a lot of people have been brainwashed by highly inflated values in the recent past. Take note they are falling in value as people start to realise they are not cheap to run as evidenced by the numbers starting to appear in the for sale section and the lack of interest from other forum members. Run it through WBAC and see what they value it at! Its the test I use if buying to give you some idea of the hit you may take if you need to resell. Recently I have seen many that are 10K over what their trade value is.

well i was promised a call back yesterday with VIN and and service history etc but no call
Im not desperate to sell so thats their problem now, back to enjoying the FL2 and not having crank anxiety 2011 D4 XS 305 MY12 - gone but not forgotten
