No off road height - and its got my indi stumped
So after having body off to sort out the suspension wiring rats nest, new turbo, egrs etc etc. All back together and running nice. Only thing that's got my indi stumped is the suspension. It will lower to access height and raise to ride height but wont rise to off road height. No faults whatsoever and no bongs or lights. He is plugging it in to JLR diagnostics as well
Anyone got any ideas or things we could try?
Thanks
Will it raise using iiD or similar? If so it could be as simple as the switch.
If no access to a suitable OBD device, stick a lump of wood under chassis in normal height and try to lower to access height. Car should raise to extended height automatically..
Dean

Thanks Dean, Had suggested that. He seems to think it could be the switch as well so further tests to be done

Sounds like the switch, or the wiring to. Can you do it with the key fob?Richard

That was my first thought
But if the switch works to go from access to normal ? Then I would think the switch works?
Does it display raising on dash or light flash when pressed ?
Maybe not enough air in tank ?

It wont have it from the third key button. Don't think its the compressor as this would surely throw up a fault, but as said, no faults bongs lights or anything. Not sure what the display says as its in the garage but will find out today. I'm still wondering whether its the switch or even the ecu.

And a complete reset? Disconnect battery leads BOTH!
Wait a few minutes and contact both leads shortly together …then connect them again to the battery..
Maybe the car just is in a kind of mode /has a signal (or none) that it speeds quicker than 50km/h (or in mls )Best regards
Harold

Thanks for all the suggestions
Got the car back this lunchtime, disconnected suspension / ratio/ terrain response switch pack, gave it a thorough dousing in electrical cleaner and hey presto - now works a treat !
