Wheel stud aligner
Hi
I am struggling to get my wheels on and off I have made the socket and pin for the bottle jack and struggle to get the wheel off the ground,I have tried with suspensions locked at off road and suspensions at access mode and at normal height and still have to jack the car up into the heavens to get the wheel off.
I have read on the forum about the several ways to remove the wheel none seem to work.
And yes I have been changing wheels all my life and I have never ever come across such a stressful time as the land rover.
Any ways the main question is has anybody seen these wheel line aligner assistance those wheels are bloody heavy for me at my old age and have seen these on a American website and can't find them anywhere in the uk
Any help would be grateful

I tried to get some in the past but missed out and they arent being produced any longer by the member who was having them made, I didnt think he was still using the forum but I ve just checked his profile and see he is.
Therefore if they are still being made I will have a set.
If he isnt able to offer them any longer I have a contact in the engineering world who previously said he could make some up if I gave him a file to machine it from, as I had said they needed to taper rather than be a simple threaded bar.
I had kept meaning to do it but never found the time to sort a CAD file but aclually did the basis of it on my iPad last week, based on measurements i had taken from a wheel nut.
I will send him over a file and get a price for producing a batch, as Im sure there is enough interest to offer them. Based on the price I get I will set up a group buy if there is enough interest.

You think though these would be quit a common item due to the weight and awkwardness of the wheel.
(Talking to the older generation of us now(65+) and of course the ladies young and old).
When you are down, you could have a look at my set, which may be going spare ......

The member who made a collective purchase in 2017 has tried to contact the maker without success.
He will attempt again in a few weeks.
In the meantime if anyone has some for sale please message me and in the meantime will still keep looking

I have made these in the past, for myself and a couple of other people. I find one aligner is more than good enough, with the tapered lead, it's really quite easy to get the wheels on and off. If you use them to take the wheels off, it stops you dropping the wheel on to the brake caliper or back plate
I could be persuaded to make a batch, if there was interest? I'll price up a batch of 25 and 50 and see how it looks.

I only ever use the one of them when taking and putting a wheel off/on
