Power to compressor

Hello All,

Could anyone tell me if the power for the compressor runs straight off the relay directly to the compressor plug in the compressor housing? I have power at the relay but down at the compressor plug I have 0v.

There’s a connector in the front passenger footwell.

Early models by door
Late models by headlight

So it’s runs from the Relay bank into the car at the passenger footwell as I have an early model and the back through a grommet along the chassis above the air tank and to the compressor?

So before I could bridge across the pins for a few seconds and the compressor would kick in, if I do that now it doesn’t and if I leave the bridge in then I have no power at the compressor plug. I have 12v where I should have it but if I bridge across then nothing happens. But when I run 12v straight to the compressor from a battery it fires up. I must have a break in the loom from the relay to the compressor

Sorry I didn’t mean footwell. I meant wheel arch. It’s on the outside

Arch liner out, and check the big blue plug. One wire for the EPB, the other for the compressor Thumbs Up

Check the fuse alongside the relay. In some vehicles it is a 60 amp but LR changed it to a 70 amp. Pull the fuse out as sometimes the connectors can be burnt.
