Goodbye dear Disco

Big Cry Big Cry
After many years ownership of D2s D3s and D4s I am having to leave the club. Unfortunately, the D5 doesn't do anything for me (pure personal preference). I have sadly sold my D4 and bought a new Defender 110. It is a lovely car from the main cabin forward but the rear isn't a patch on the D4. Ideally, I would have loved LR to take the front of the Defender and the back of the D4 and welded them together but I guess, aesthetically, it wouldn't have worked. Roll on the D6.

Anyway, down to my question. Does anyone have any suggestions for the best online Forum for Defender owners. I'm aware of a couple of Facebook groups but FB format is nothing like as good as the Disco3/4.co.uk layout and the technical knowledge of its members.

All the best.

Defender2.net is very similar to this forum. It has a fair few new Defender owners including me who contribute.

There was initially a bit of a kick back from the traditional Defender fans, but the L663 has its own section. It nowhere near as busy as this place though.

The Facebook group is good, my only criticism is it’s on FB! I am pulling away from FB so don’t get in there as often as I used to.

I’m 15 months into my Defender D300 now and still loving every bit of it. 99.9% reliable. It would be 100 if it wasn’t for a couple of early software glitches. I’ve not done any green lanes in it yet, I feel I’ve ticked that box in my life now. It’s good to have a car that I know would do it with ease if I wanted to.
