Alternator replacement - Oh Nuts!
After my alternator started to show signs of failing last week, I bought a new one and set about fitting it today. All was going swimmingly except for the earth cable which was reluctant to budge. With the aid of a 13mm ratchet spanner and my noodly arms I managed to shear the earth post off the (old) alternator.
I’m now discovering that 1500 on Easter Monday is not an ideal time to find a 13mm nut.

Since it is almost the most common nut these days… should never be difficult i think, maybe your neighbour has a motorbike to take it of secretly.
But.. every gardencentre or like wise should have one for you?Best regards
