Factory VSR? / missing Anderson plug? |
|
Hi brains trust.
2007 tdv6 recently bought.
I can not find an Anderson plug at the rear of the bumper as I have on my 05 HSE.
However there is a voltage sensing relay (dual battery isolator) in front of the battery / fuse box under bonnet. It was powering a corrosion protection device which I have removed, but also the output goes toward the front of the car under water wash bottle and into a loom where is all I have got to investigating.
Looks factory, was there an option?
I am away from car for weekend so no pictures. I believe the body has been off for a turbo replacement.
Any thoughts or theories welcomed.

I do not think Anderson plugs were fitted as standard on any D3, they are generally aftermarket. They did fit plugs for towing though, a white one and a black one behind a removable panel on the rear bumper.

Definitely none factory fitted so the previous owner would have installed it, i cut my 12s socket off and put a single anderson in its place on a bracket i made.
