No, not at all. Just the ipod and an anonymous black case that I know contains an interesting toy. CB and PMR were in the top glove box.

Maybe a good time to point out to all that alarm mod that Chris200100 documented...
Probably, but Chris put it up on here with pics (although they seem to be not working now).
Either way... peeps should just do it. I know I can now hear the alarm when it goes off

But a case containing maybe something never the less... not getting at you mate... just saying. I hide everything - especially since I had the same window done in, lost some stuff and had paint scratched on the top of the door, rips in the door panel and deep scratches on the glove box and centre box.
Oh and the bag of frozen peas noise each time the door was closed.
We also recently experienced this with our CLK last month.. Only went into newsagent for a paper and the little ers put in the n/s/f window. Nothing taken, but damage to top of door and loads of scuffs to the leather seats (house brick lobbed through window) There was nothing on show but the glove box was opened. It took ages to get all the broken glass out, and I think I annoyed the Autoglass bloke by insisting all the glass was removed from the door... All the police do is give out crime numbers... Not a chance of catching them, although most of the people in the area know who they are As you slide down the banister of life

That's just awful Rob, I feel so bad for you! It would be a really nice feature if LR integrated a two-way alarm that would alert through the key fob or some such.I'm not so good at giving advice...may I offer you a sarcastic comment instead?

One of the residents I was chatting with yesterday evening told me that he'd caught one of the culprits previously hanging out of his passenger window having done much the same thing. He saw red, and seconds later, the yoof was on his face on the floor, and in danger of losing his life - the red mist had descended for the resident.
The sad point is, that in this situation, the law is on the thiefs side, and you'd probably get locked up for a million years for protecting your own property. I don't know if I'd react like this (I doubt I would) but I'd really rather not know if soneone's attacking my D3.
One of my pals who moved to Boston MA last year has commented to me that he doesn't miss Britains yob culture one bit.

Shoot em Shoot em all
While I totally agree that we should not be any thing left visible of value, But its a sad world we have to spend extra time hiding the ipod, Road Angel, phone etc and then remembering were we hid them (Know that might be more a problem for some hey Dom)
Seriously if you find out who's responsible I for one will love to know there whereabouts

Bad luck Rob, Stockport at its worst unfortunately.
I made that mistake too - he was in Wythenshawe, the biggest slum ... errr... council estate in the country - basically bandit country
I'm really careful, not even a Morrisons shopping bag gets left on display, everything in the back under the roller cover or stuffed in the cubby (PMR, TomTom etc etc)Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)
