A while back I had the screech noise from the electronic parking brake. And yes, I left it too long! Got the fault ping up on the dashboard.
I had also started to feel a slight judder when braking from about 70mph.
Car finally went in yesterday,
Turns out, parking brake shoes and seized which in turn wrecked the actuator. Rear discs had wear so they needed changing along with the pads.
So new discs, pads, shoes and actuator.. very nice price tag to follow but, no more noise on parking brake and brake judder gone.
All in all, wel worth it but a bit painful on the pocket.  2005 Disco3 HSE Auto 😁
