| Opening Bonnet With Catch Broken? |

Hi,
Is there any way of getting into the bonnet without breaking anything with the bonnet catch broken on the D4?
RAC man here trying to look at flat battery issue, but cable must have broken when tried to open bonnet (had it up a little earlier).
Seems to be connected at the lever end, but no resistance, so assume it has snapped / pulled away somewhere under the bonnet.
Local garage says there is a good chance they will have to break the grill to get to it?

2 today ! is it dying batteries, low coolant warning or needing to top-up the screenwash that's helping owners discover their bonnet won't open ? .

Is this the new "snapped crank" ? it's happened to a few but now everyone wants to know the fix as they are expecting it to happen to them ???
