New AMK Compressor Not Working |

I have a 2005 LR3 SE V8 and my original Hitachi compressor finally died. Thankfully I had the new AMK upgrade kit on hand the I got from a friend in exchange for a bottle of Bushmills 8)
Anyway, I installed the new compressor, carefully following the steps and installation was a breeze. I then updated the ECU with the necessery AMK software using my GAP tool and it was successful. I installed the new relay and then I started the car. I hear the suspension try to adjust the height of the car and nothing happens. Compressor does not engage at all. Then I get the usual suspension error.
I turned off the car and reset the errors. I disconnected the compressor power connector and connected my multimeter and started the car while watching the multimeter. It remained at 0V the whole time. I checked the fuse and it is good. I checked the new relay on the bench and it is working as well.
I am now out of ideas. Has anyone got any suggestions on how to fix this?

Error code is:
C1A20-64 (2E) Pressure Increase too slow when filling reservoir - Algorithim based failure - signal plausibility failure.
This error maskes sense since the compressor is not running at all.

Remove the relay and jumper the two large slots - compressor should run. Fuse was changed from 60 to 70 amp.

Did the test and harness is ok. Getting correct voltage to the compressor connector. I did notice that the some part of the compressor was making a weird high pitched sound even when the car was off. It would only stop when the 6 pin connector was disconnected. Anyone got any ideas?

I think that connector has the exhaust valve and sensor wires in it so noise could be exhaust valve leaking

You might be getting voltage at the pins but are you getting current?
Test with a load not a DVM.
You could have a mad joint / high resistance that will allow the volts to show ok but the power cant flow.

Definitely not exhaust valve leaking. System is depressurized. I should clarify it's a high pitch electrical noise.

I'll check if I can borrow a meter than can read the high current. My meter can only read a maximum of 10 amps. In the mean time I will see if I can check the resistance from the harness connector to the compressor motor.
