Hi
Just joined the forum as I have recently bought my first Land Rover which is a Discovery 3 so please be kind.
I have searched the forum but cant seem to find a definitive answer but does anybody know if the seat belt warning light should stay on even if no one is in the car as in the owners hand book it says it should go off after approx 6 seconds when ignition turned to position 2 but in my case it only goes out when I fasten the drivers seat belt.
Any help would be great.

It should go off when belts fastened.
You can stop the chimes if you wish.
Insert buckle in and out 16 times with the ignition on
