Hi all
I recently got my EPB replaced in garage for a new one in Sept 2020
Gone in for MOT and the same mechanic is saying it needs a whole new unit again!?
Isn’t it covered with warranty and expected to last at least a few years?
Year and 3 months is a big big short in my opinion! Disco 3 SE Manual 2005 V6 2.7

Sounds like you need to change garage.

Isn’t there more info from your “same MOT guy”?
Like what is wrong with the recent unit? And the old one? Was the unit new? Was the unit broken due to some other problem maybe and they/you/he did not resolve that? Did the same MOT guy do the repairs?
What does the LR specialist say? (Here in The netherlands not every MOT “guy” is a LR specialist, could be different in the UK though.. 8)
Just my thoughts… i can not answer your warranty question, sorry.. Best regards
Harold

I would be asking "what is wrong with it and what codes are there. May just need brake adjustment. Then look for new mechanic.
