Passenger Side Second Row Seat Won't Tip Forward |
|
Dear All,
My second-row seat on the passenger's side won't tip forward to allow access to the rear, third-row seats.
The cord (put from the rear) and the lever (lift from the side) seem to do something (from listening) however seat won't move. The corresponding seat of the driver's side is working fine.
Does anyone know what the solution is?
Cheers
Austin

Had this happen on my D4 and from memory it was a spring had come undone on the seat. Can you not look at the opposite one and then get it to tilt and check to see what has come adrift. MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

I've had the pull part stick on something that had got under the seat and whilst it felt it had moved, it hadn't moved quite enough. .

I don’t use mine very often and every time I do I forget that in order to tilt, the backrest only needs to be dropped. I keep on locking the seat in the “flat floor” position too - it won’t tilt from there.
