Red dome light on Roseneath DVD Player
Hi all...
So I've got a 2005 Disco 3 which had a ceiling mounted DVD player with it when I bought it.
I've noticed the last few days that one of the dome lights is glowing red.
Just wondered if anyone has come across this or any idea what it is / means. Can't find anything searching the web and never had it before.

Isofix car seat, Isofix baby seat base, crushed carpet crisps, sticky leather seats (next to Isofix car seat), upgraded front rubber cup holder things, wired up USB charge and audio for my iphone, side steps, de-tango'd lights, H7 OSRAM Nighbreakers, LED side lights, LED reverse lights, clear repeaters, Narpy Grill... tools I don't know how to use.... yet..

I don't have this model of DVD player but just a thought, is there (are there) a remote(s)?
Could one of those have a low battery, be squashed down a seat and sending a command?
The red light (not pictured) could be an active infra red controller link maybe?Jim

That’s a very good point regarding a remote @jim
Did just see this, alas don’t know if it has any bearing regarding the light sensor ?
“ The roof mounted screen is centrally located in the headlining between rows one and two. The screen has a resolution of 800 x 600. The rear screen displays in 16:9 wide-screen format
The roof mounted screen houses an infrared sensor. The infrared sensor receives the signals output by the remote control and routes them via the MOST BUS to the RSE control module.
An ambient light sensor, in the bottom left edge of the screen, allows the system to automatically adjust the brightness of the screen to compensate for changes in ambient light levels.”
Also found a picture , is it the side lights plse that are glowing red, are u able to just change the bulb or is it more involved than that plse , thks
