Manual unlock not working
How easy is it to take apart and service? We had a central locking issue which I believe resulted from a Jerry can leaking out 2 litres of water in the back footwell. Remote unlock was intermittent at that point and that’s when I discovered the manual unlock was jammed up. I broke a key trying . I dried everything out with a dryer, but obviously I need to restore the ability to unlock the car if the remote receiver wiring plays up again… I’m hoping some WD40 in the right place will get it loosened up.Smoked swooshy side repeaters

Presumably there’s something between the turn key lock mechanism and the physical lock that looks a bit like a brake cable on a bike? Like probably part 12 or 13 from the diagram below. Can I get access from just door handle off?

"bike brake cable" we call that a Bowden cable
