Brake light HELP needed

Hello Disco lovers 😉
I'm new in discovery family (my first D3 2.7) firstival I would like to say thank you for all informations I've founded here 😎💪✌ So to the subject: its anyone here is able to help me with this mysterious connection to brake lights? I think someone tried to connect trailer plugs to the brake lights... I'm getting hdc fault so I've changed brake light switch, clean valves checked sensors, etc (thanks to forum) and then I've founded this 🤯🤯🤯 Im getting lots of faults codes so I believe it's causing lots of problems with electric. Is anyone here can please tell me how to disconnect that thing and connect cables in genuine way ? MASSIVE THANKS !!!

do you tow or not ?

I think the orange thing, switches the caravan fridge on and off.

If you think something is connected to the brake light wires, disconnect it.
Do the cars brake lights work ?

The yellow, green and white wires are correctly connected anyway

carefully disconnect the towbar wires if you wish.

Maybe best to leave the blue lock connectors on the wires, if they wish to keep hold

The black connector is a fuse holder, take the fuse out and see what happens.
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Grey is original to the car.

The red wire coming out of the black towbar cable goes to brake lights. So disconnect that.
