Given the amount of LR thefts in my area at the moment I'm looking into security so that I don't awake one morning to see my D4 gone.
As well as disabling keyless entry, I want to get a dummy ODB. Has anyone got one of these from a reputable source? (the cynic in me thinks ordering from eBay will only add my D4 to a list of 'ready to be stolen').
I did find a thread where Martin sold some on the shop, but cant find any on there now.

What MY? Not sure it may be an issue for you.
My understanding is that LR changed the way the keys work on later cars to prevent OBD theft. You can’t programme a key to the car, the key module has to be replaced to accept any new keys. I was quoted £900 for a third key from LR......

Someone on here got a dummy OBD from eBay recently.
I too am concerned about ordering from eBay. I did consider getting delivered to an alternative address but I think the seller would still know your billing address if you did that. Gary
