For those of you trying to remove butterfly, we tried for an hour to get butterfly of by levering with screwdriver, no way was it moving without cracking housing.what we did was put a set of mole grips on end of spindle and gave it a good tug.

Confusion!!
I need to buy the EGR valve but I do not know what the code is correct. I need left and right. (both valves) and also gasked.

And of course where to find cheap parts. They need to send in Slovenia EU.

Here's what I had to do after an hour of levering, pliers, CRC, hair dryer, vice-grips and a small chip out of the housing.
Open the butterfly. Drill a small hole in housing and insert a ~10mm long self tapper to stop the spindle turning. Leave the little arm between the actuator and the spindle disconnected at 180 from where it should be. Make sure is low profile head on screw so the air box connects up flush again with the butterfly valve housing.

looks like i got off lightly , as the butterfly valve came out really easy , reinstalled the butterfly pin after removing the butterfly
took the entire assembly out so i could give it a nice clean up and fit blanking plates
used some silicone grease on the large o rings on installation
