non starter after major rebuild with ckp fault code

Hi guys Help needed

I have the car fully rebuilt, new remanufactured engine.
new turbo, starter, alternator, battery and loads of other bits including a new hpfp.

primed the system etc and it just cranks and cranks, a little burble every now and then.

scan tools are showing good fuel pressure etc but throwing out a P0336 and sometimes the camshaft sensor code.

the ckp magnet reluctor was installed with the tool so i am assuming that cant be done wrong - the sensor and wheel are brand new genuine landrover parts.

If we put a little easy start in the car fires up and runs like a dream, can leave it idling for hours with no issue, drove it for 40+ min to make sure it wasnt air in the fuel system as tank and everything has been out.
once the car has been warmed up it can be started with the key as normal at anypoint that day. left overnight and it refuses to start.

once the car is running there are no faults, they only appear if the car doesnt start.

My mechanic is saying what the scan tool says and it must be the crank sensor.

how can the car work so well if the new sensor was faulty, from what i have read i would expect the car to stall, run rough or not run at all. how can easy start bypass all the electrical side of what allows the car to start

I am happy to change my ckp sensor but wondering if it could be anything else other than a loose wire or damaged cable

any help would be great

is the cam shaft sensor plugged into the passenger head ?

It's at the front, on the side. Difficult to access

It seems that running temperature fixes a faulty connection, always present when cold. Or higher voltage from running engine hides the problem. Are the glow plugs and temperature sensors functioning properly?

Glow plugs all new, I will get him to test this if he hasn't already.
Temp sensor at lh side of the rad is new including all the pipe work it came with. We swapped that with old one just in case it was faulty.

One on the sump had a damaged wire so we soldered and re plugged the connection to eliminate that.

okay the plugs have been checked and are good.

we got a shot of a more expensive snap on iid tool. it now shows 3 codes.

p0336 - 66 - a circuit range failure
p0335 - 78 - invalid signal - never seen this code prior to today
p0341 - 29 - camshaft sensor bank 1 signal invalid.

cam sensor is original to my car
crankshaft sensors are brand new
