Hi Had the usual problems with the EPB actuator and will be replacing it with a refurbished unit.
One question please, purchased new e clips where do they fit on the cables please?
No evidence of the clips on the cables entering the back plates of the brakes, is this one of the reasons why my original unit failed?
What is there purpose please?

I think LR Time released a video yesterday which may be what you are looking for? If so he mentions it can cause issues for the parking brake.
